Ever wonder, will I meet the one in college? It was one day in math class that we met and decided to give dating one another a try. After going on a date, we decided to make it official on September 8th, 2019. We spent a lot of time hanging out, going to dinners, and spending time with one another families the rest of the year and going into 2020.
Sadly, March 2020 hit and the lock down started. Our parents both agreed to not have outside people in, which meant phone calls, FaceTimes, and texts to stay in contact.
Finally, a month later we were able to see each other, but still had to be safe. Our families got to meet one another and got to know each other. We spent time together on the weekends and sometimes during the week depending on our work and school schedule.
In 2022, we ended up going to two different four year colleges, which meant long distance began. Zach went away to West Virginia to get his degree in Environmental Science and I stayed at George Mason to get my degree in Early Childhood Education. This was a a hard time, but we got through it with short weekend visits, phone calls, FaceTimes and texting again. In May 2023, Zach and I both Graduated from our four year schools and began to work in our careers.
On February 23, 2024, Zach proposed to me to start building our future together. Today, we are working in our careers, building our relationship with God and working on building the rest of our lives.
